Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
अभिभूयेह चार्चिष्मद् व्यसृजत् सप्त मानसान् | दूरगं बहुधागामि प्रार्थनासंशयात्मकम्
abhibhūyeha cārciṣmad vyasṛjat sapta mānasān | dūragam bahudhāgāmi prārthanāsaṁśayātmakam ||
ویاس نے کہا—یہاں سب اشیا پر غالب آ کر اُس درخشاں تत्त्व نے سات مانس-رشیوں کو پیدا کیا۔ من دور تک جاتا ہے، طرح طرح سے آتا جاتا ہے، اور دعا و تردّد کی کیفیت رکھتا ہے؛ مگر جب وہ چیتنیا (شعور) سے جڑ جاتا ہے تو تمام موضوعات کو مغلوب کر کے تخلیق کا سرچشمہ بن جاتا ہے۔
