वेदशब्देभ्य एवादौ निर्मिमीते स ईश्वर: । ऋषियोंके नाम

vedāśabdebhyā eva ādau nirmimīte sa īśvaraḥ | ṛṣīṇāṁ nāmāni, vedokta-sṛṣṭi-krama-anusāreṇa racitānāṁ sarva-padārthānāṁ nāmāni, prāṇināṁ nānāvidha-rūpāṇi tathā teṣāṁ karmāṇāṁ vidhānam—etat sarvaṁ aiśvaryavān prajāpatiḥ sṛṣṭer ādikāle vedokta-śabdānusāreṇaiva racayati |

ویاس نے کہا: آغاز ہی میں وہ پروردگار وید کے الفاظ سے سृष्टि کو ترتیب دیتا ہے۔ رشیوں کے نام، ویدوکْت ترتیبِ آفرینش کے مطابق تمام اشیاء کے نام، جانداروں کی گوناگوں صورتیں اور ان کے اعمال کے ضابطے—یہ سب جلالت والے پرجاپتی جگت کے آغاز میں وید-وाणी کے مطابق ہی قائم کرتا ہے۔
