Householder Primacy and the Royal Duty of Punishment

अनिसृष्टानि गुरुणा फलानि मनुजर्षभ । भक्षितानि महाराज तत्र मां शाधि मा चिरम्‌,“नरश्रेष्ठ! मैंने बड़े भाईके दिये बिना ही उनके बगीचेसे फल लेकर खा लिये हैं; महाराज! इसके लिये मुझे शीघ्र दण्ड दीजिये”

anissṛṣṭāni guruṇā phalāni manujarṣabha | bhakṣitāni mahārāja tatra māṃ śādhi mā ciram ||

ویاس نے کہا—اے نر شریشٹھ، اے مہاراج! بڑے بھائی کی اجازت کے بغیر میں نے وہ پھل کھا لیے جو مجھے عطا نہیں کیے گئے تھے۔ اس قصور پر مجھے فوراً سزا دیجئے؛ دیر نہ کیجئے۔
