साहमेवंगुणेष्वेव दानवेष्ववसं पुरा । प्रजासर्गमुपादाय नैकं युगविपर्ययम्,इस प्रकार उत्तम गुणोंवाले दानवोंके पास सृष्टिकालसे लेकर अबतक मैं अनेक युगोंसे रहती आयी हूँ
sāham evaṁ-guṇeṣv eva dānaveṣv avasaṁ purā | prajā-sargam upādāya naikaṁ yuga-viparyayam ||
میں پہلے ایسے ہی عمدہ اوصاف والے دانَووں کے درمیان رہا کرتی تھی؛ آفرینش کے آغاز سے لے کر یُگوں کے بے شمار الٹ پھیر تک میں وہیں ٹھہری رہی ہوں۔
