कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च

Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation

दौष्कुलेयस्तथा मूढो दुर्जातः शक्र दृश्यते । सुखं जीवन सहामात्यो भवितव्यं हि तत्‌ तथा,इन्द्र! एक नीच कुलमें उत्पन्न हुआ मूढ़ मनुष्य जिसका जन्म दुराचारसे हुआ है, अपने मन्त्रियोंसहित सुखी जीवन बिताता देखा जाता है। उसकी भी वैसी ही होनहार समझनी चाहिये

dauṣkuleyastathā mūḍho durjātaḥ śakra dṛśyate | sukhaṃ jīvan sahāmātyo bhavitavyaṃ hi tat tathā ||

شَکر نے کہا— یہ بھی دیکھا جاتا ہے کہ پست خاندان میں پیدا ہوا، نادان اور بداصل آدمی بھی اپنے وزیروں سمیت آسودہ زندگی گزارتا ہے؛ اسے بھی تقدیر کا ایسا ہی فیصلہ سمجھنا چاہیے۔
