Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
मरीचे: कश्यप: पुत्रस्तस्य द्वे नामनी स्मृते । अरिष्टनेमिरित्येके कश्यपेत्यपरे विदु:,मरीचिके पुत्र जो कश्यप हैं, उनके भी दो नाम माने गये हैं। कुछ लोग उन्हें अरिष्टनेमि कहते हैं और दूसरे लोग उन्हें कश्यपके नामसे जानते हैं
marīceḥ kaśyapaḥ putras tasya dve nāmanī smṛte | ariṣṭanemir ity eke kaśyapety apare viduḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—مریچی کا بیٹا کشیپ ہے؛ روایت میں اس کے دو نام یاد کیے جاتے ہیں۔ کچھ لوگ اسے ‘ارِشٹ نیمی’ کہتے ہیں اور دوسرے ‘کشیپ’ کے نام سے پہچانتے ہیں۔
