Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
रामस्तं प्रतिजग्राह पृष्टवा गोत्रादि सर्वश: । उष्यतां स्वागतं चेति प्रीतिमांश्नाभवद् भूुशम्
rāmas taṃ pratijagrāha pṛṣṭvā gotrādi sarvaśaḥ | uṣyatāṃ svāgataṃ ceti prītimān abhavad bhūśam ||
رام (پرشورام) نے اسے پورے اہتمام سے قبول کیا؛ پہلے اس کے گوتر وغیرہ سب باتیں تفصیل سے پوچھیں، پھر شاگردانہ نسبت سے اسے اپنا لیا اور فرمایا—“वत्स! یہیں ٹھہرو؛ تمہارا خیرمقدم ہے۔” یہ کہہ کر وہ مُنی اس پر نہایت خوش ہوئے۔
