धर्मसूक्ष्मे त्यागप्रधान्यविचारः

Subtle Dharma and the Primacy of Renunciation

ऑपन-माज बछ। जज: - इसी पर्वमें अध्याय १७ श्लोक १७ देखना चाहिये। एकोनविशो< ध्याय: युधिष्ठटिरद्वारा अपने मतकी यथार्थताका प्रतिपादन युधिछिर उवाच वेदाहं तात शास्त्राणि अपराणि पराणि च | उभयं वेदवचनं कुरु कर्म त्यजेति च,युधिष्ठिर बोले--तात! मैं धर्म और ब्रह्मका प्रतिपादन करनेवाले अपर तथा पर दोनों प्रकारके शास्त्रोंको जानता हूँ। वेदमें दोनों प्रकारके वचन उपलब्ध होते हैं--“कर्म करो और कर्म छोड़ो--इन दोनोंका ही मुझे ज्ञान है

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | vedāhaṃ tāta śāstrāṇi aparāṇi parāṇi ca | ubhayaṃ vedavacanaṃ kuru karma tyajeti ca ||

یُدھِشٹھِر نے کہا: اے عزیز! میں دونوں قسم کے شاستروں کو جانتا ہوں—وہ جو دنیاوی دائرے میں دھرم سکھاتے ہیں اور وہ جو اعلیٰ ترین حقیقت کی تعلیم دیتے ہیں۔ وید میں دونوں حکم ملتے ہیں: ‘کرم کرو’ اور ‘کرم کا ترک کرو’—میں دونوں کو سمجھتا ہوں۔
