शृणोति कथितं जीव: कर्णाभ्यां न शृणोति तत् । महर्षे मनसि व्यग्रे तस्माज्जीवो निरर्थक:
Translation
اے مہارشی! جیو پہلے دونوں کانوں سے کہی ہوئی بات سنتا ہے؛ مگر جب من بے چین ہو تو سن کر بھی نہیں سنتا۔ اس لیے من کے سوا کسی جداگانہ ‘جیو’ کی ہستی ماننا بے معنی ہے۔
