अध्याय १७८ — प्राणवायुगतिः तथा शारीराग्निव्यवस्था

Adhyāya 178 — The courses of prāṇa-vāyu and the regulation of the bodily fire

तयो: सम्प्राप्तयोरुष्ट: स्कन्धदेशममर्षण: । उत्थायोत्क्षिप्प तौ दम्यौ प्रससार महाजव:,जब वे उसकी गर्दनके पास पहुँचे तो ऊँटके लिये यह असहा हो उठा। वह रोषमें भरकर खड़ा हो गया और उन दोनों बछड़ोंको ऊपर लटकाये बड़े जोरसे भागने लगा

tayōḥ samprāptayōruṣṭaḥ skandhadēśam amarṣaṇaḥ | utthāyōtkṣipya tau damyau prasasāra mahājavaḥ ||

بھیشم نے کہا—جب وہ دونوں اس کے گردن اور کندھے کے قریب پہنچے تو اونٹ کے لیے یہ ناقابلِ برداشت ہو گیا۔ وہ غصّے میں اٹھ کھڑا ہوا، ان دونوں بچھڑوں کو اٹھا کر اوپر لٹکا لیا اور پھر بڑی تیزی سے بھاگ نکلا۔
