स चाद्य दिवस: पुण्यो हतिथिश्चायमागतः । संकल्पितं चैव धनं कि विचार्यमत: परम्
sa cādya divasaḥ puṇyo hatithiścāyam āgataḥ | saṅkalpitaṃ caiva dhanaṃ ki vicāryamataḥ param ||
بھیشم نے کہا—‘آج کا دن مبارک و پُنّیہ ہے اور یہ موزوں تِتھی بھی آ پہنچی ہے۔ مال بھی (دان کے لیے) پہلے ہی مقرر/منسوب کیا جا چکا ہے؛ پھر اس کے بعد اور کیا سوچنا باقی ہے؟’
