Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dhārmic conduct through reverence and hospitality: meeting a worthy Brāhmaṇa is treated as spiritually fulfilling, and proper care (inviting him to stay the night and traveling together) is presented as ethical, respectful behavior.

Bhīṣma addresses a distinguished Brāhmaṇa, expresses that the meeting has made him feel fulfilled, asks him to stay for the night, and proposes that they depart together the next morning.
