Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes reassurance grounded in inner discernment: do not surrender to fear or despair when a wise person perceives life and auspicious outcome; confidence and compassion can restore hope and guide right action.

Jambuka addresses a group of people who are anxious about a child’s fate. He declares, based on his mental insight, that the child is alive and will not be destroyed, and he comforts them by promising that they will attain happiness.
