अध्याय १५२: लोभः पापस्य मूलम् — Greed as the Root of Wrongdoing
शौनक उवाच किमाश्चर्य यदप्राज्ञो बहु कुर्यादसाम्प्रतम् । इति वै पण्डितो भूत्वा भूतानां नानुकुप्यते
śaunaka uvāca | kim āścaryaṁ yad aprājño bahu kuryād asāmpratam | iti vai paṇḍito bhūtvā bhūtānāṁ nānukupyate |
شاؤنک نے کہا— اگر نادان آدمی بہت سے ناموزوں کام کر بیٹھے تو اس میں تعجب ہی کیا؟ لہٰذا جو حقیقتاً دانا ہے وہ اس اصول کو جان کر جانداروں پر غضب نہیں کرتا۔
