तद्गचः संगतं श्रुत्वा लोमशो युक्तमर्थवत्‌ | हर्षादुद्वीक्ष्य पलितं स्वागतेनाभ्यपूजयत्‌,चूहेकी यह युक्तियुक्त, सुसंगत और अभिप्रायपूर्ण बात सुनकर लोमशने उसकी ओर हर्षभरी दृष्टिसे देखा तथा स्वागतपूर्वक उसकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की

tadgiraḥ saṅgataṃ śrutvā lomaśo yuktam arthavat | harṣād udvīkṣya palitaṃ svāgatenābhyapūjayat ||

اس کی مربوط، معقول اور معنی خیز بات سن کر لومش خوش ہوا؛ اس نے سفید بالوں والے پالِت کی طرف نگاہ اٹھائی، شائستہ استقبال کے ساتھ اس کی تعظیم کی اور بہت زیادہ ستائش کی۔
