Educational Q&A

A truly discerning person should not surrender to moha (delusion). Wisdom is shown by steadiness of judgment and refusal to be carried away by confusion, fear, or passion.

In the Śānti Parva’s instruction-setting, Bhīṣma is counseling and correcting the listener’s state of mind, asserting that one who is genuinely wise—especially someone expected to uphold dharma—should not lapse into bewilderment.
