ब्रवीषि मधुरं यच्च प्रियो मे5द्य भवानिति
bravīṣi madhuraṁ yac ca priyo me ’dya bhavān iti |
بھیشم نے کہا—“تم جو شیریں کلامی سے کہتے ہو کہ ‘آج تم مجھے بہت عزیز لگتے ہو’—اس کا بھی ایک سبب ہے، اے دوست! میں اسے تمہیں تفصیل سے بتاتا ہوں، سنو۔ آدمی سبب ہی سے محبت کا مستحق بنتا ہے اور سبب ہی سے نفرت کا مستحق بنتا ہے۔”
