यदर्थ चाप्यपह्तं येन तच्चैव मन्त्रितम् तस्य तद् विदितं सर्व कारणार्थ च मर्षितम्,जिसने जिस उद्देश्यसे उस मांसको चुराया और जिसने ऐसा करनेकी सलाह दी, वह सब कुछ सियारको मालूम हो गया तो भी किसी कारणवश उसने चुपचाप सह लिया
yadarthaṃ cāpyapahṛtaṃ yena taccaiva mantritam | tasya tad viditaṃ sarvaṃ kāraṇārthaṃ ca marṣitam ||
جس مقصد سے وہ گوشت چرایا گیا تھا اور جس نے اس کی صلاح دی اور تدبیر باندھی تھی—یہ سب کچھ گیدڑ پر آشکار ہو گیا؛ پھر بھی کسی وجہ سے اس نے خاموشی سے برداشت کر لیا۔
