जनकस्य युद्धोपदेशः — Janaka’s Instruction on Steadfast Battle-Conduct

न हि शौर्यात्‌ परं किंचित्‌ त्रिषु लोकेषु विद्यते | शूर: सर्व पालयति सर्व शूरे प्रतेष्ठितम्‌,तीनों लोकोंमें शूरवीरतासे बढ़कर दूसरी कोई वस्तु नहीं है। शूरवीर सबका पालन करता है और सारा जगत्‌ उसीके आधारपर टिका हुआ है

na hi śauryāt paraṃ kiñcit triṣu lokeṣu vidyate | śūraḥ sarvaṃ pālayati sarvaṃ śūre pratiṣṭhitam ||

بھیشم نے کہا—تینوں جہانوں میں دلیری سے بڑھ کر کوئی شے نہیں۔ بہادر ہی سب کی نگہبانی کرتا ہے، اور سارا نظامِ عالم بہادر پر قائم ہے۔
