दुर्योधनवच: श्रुत्वा शल्यो मद्राधिपस्तदा । उवाच वाक्यं वाक्यज्ञो राजानं राजसंनिधौ,उस समय वचनके रहस्यको जाननेवाले मद्रदेशके स्वामी राजा शल्य दुर्योधनके वचन सुनकर समस्त राजाओं के सम्मुख राजा दुर्योधनसे यह वचन बोले

duryodhanavacaḥ śrutvā śalyo madrādhipas tadā | uvāca vākyaṃ vākyajño rājānaṃ rājasaṃnidhau ||

سنجے نے کہا—دُریودھن کی بات سن کر شلیہ، جو مَدر کا فرمانروا اور کلام کے مدعا کو سمجھنے میں ماہر تھا، تب جمع ہوئے بادشاہوں کی موجودگی میں راجا دُریودھن سے مخاطب ہوا۔
