Gadāyuddhe Kṛṣṇopadeśaḥ (Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel in the Mace-Duel) — Śalya-parva 57
समागम्य ततो भूयो भ्रातरौ बलिनां वरौ । अन्योन्यस्यान्तरप्रेप्सू प्रचक्राते$न्तरं प्रति,बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ उन दोनों भाइयोंमें जब पुनः भिड़न्त हुई तो दोनों ही दोनोंके चूकनेका अवसर देखते हुए पैंतरे बदलने लगे
samāgamya tato bhūyo bhrātarau balināṃ varau | anyonyasyāntaraprepsū pracakrāte 'ntaraṃ prati ||
سنجے نے کہا—پھر وہ دونوں بھائی، طاقتوروں میں برتر، دوبارہ آمنے سامنے آئے۔ ایک دوسرے میں رخنہ ڈھونڈنے کی نیت سے وہ داؤ بدلتے، چکر کاٹتے اور موقع کی تاک میں لگ گئے۔
