tato vāhān samāśvasya sarve yuddhābhinandinaḥ | ūne dviyojane gatvā pratyatiṣṭhanta kauravāḥ ||

Even amid warfare, conduct is shaped by discipline and duty: the army pauses to rest its mounts and proceeds in an orderly manner. The verse implicitly highlights responsibility toward one’s resources and dependents, suggesting that ethical restraint and practical care remain obligations even in harsh contexts.
Sañjaya reports that the Kaurava warriors, after resting their mounts/vehicles, march to a location slightly less than two yojanas away and then halt to set up camp.
