ततः प्रीतो महासेनस्त्रिदशे भ्यो वरं ददौ । रिपून्‌ हन्तास्मि समरे ये वो वधचिकीर्षव:

Transliteration

tataḥ prīto mahāsenas tridaśebhyo varaṃ dadau | ripūn hantāsmi samare ye vo vadhacikīrṣavaḥ ||

Translation

تب خوش ہو کر کمار مہاسین نے تریدشوں کو یہ ور دیا: “جو تمہارا وध کرنا چاہتے ہیں، اُن دشمنوں کو میں میدانِ جنگ میں ہلاک کر دوں گا۔” یوں رضا مندی سے نکلا یہ قول حق کے فریق کی حفاظت کا عہد بن گیا۔
