Trita in the Well (Udapāna-kathā) — Balarāma’s Tīrtha Observances

ततस्ता: सहिता: सर्वा भूय: पितरमन्रुवन्‌

tatas tāḥ sahitāḥ sarvā bhūyaḥ pitaram anvruvan | “tavaiva sevāyāṃ tatparāḥ santaḥ tvat-samīpe vayaṃ sthāsyāmaḥ | candramā asmābhiḥ saha na tiṣṭhati | sa tava vacanaṃ nānuvartata” iti ||

تب وہ سب کنواریاں اکٹھی ہو کر پھر اپنے باپ کے پاس گئیں اور بولیں— “ہم سب آپ کی خدمت میں لگ کر آپ ہی کے قریب رہیں گی۔ چاند ہمارے ساتھ نہیں رہتا؛ اس نے آپ کی بات نہیں مانی۔”
