धृतराष्ट्र-संजय-संवादः — दुर्योधनस्य ह्रदप्रवेशः

एवमुक्त्वा महाराज सहदेवो महाबल: । संक़्रुद्धो रणशार्दूलो वेगेनाभिजगाम तम्‌,महाराज! ऐसा कहकर रणक्षेत्रमें सिंहके समान पराक्रम दिखानेवाले महाबली सहदेवने अत्यन्त कुपित हो बड़े वेगसे उसपर आक्रमण किया

evam uktvā mahārāja sahadevo mahābalaḥ | saṅkruddho raṇaśārdūlo vegenābhijagāma tam ||

سنجے نے کہا— “اے مہاراج! یوں کہہ کر مہابلی سہ دیو، میدانِ جنگ میں شیرِ رزم کی مانند، غضب سے بھڑک اٹھا اور بڑی تیزی سے اس پر جھپٹ پڑا۔”
