Adhyāya 14: Śalya’s Missile-Pressure and the Pāṇḍava Convergence (शल्यस्य शरवर्षम्)
tatrāścaryam apaśyāma dṛṣṭvā teṣāṃ parākramam | yad eko yugapad vīrān samayodhayad arjunaḥ ||

The verse highlights extraordinary concentration and capability: a single disciplined warrior can face multiple challenges at once. Ethically, it also underscores the awe and gravity of battlefield duty (kṣatriya-dharma), where prowess is admired even amid a tragic conflict.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that, on the battlefield, it was astonishing to see Arjuna alone simultaneously engage many opposing heroes, demonstrating exceptional valor and tactical command.
