Transliteration

te vadhyamānāḥ samare pārthanāmāṅkitaiḥ śaraiḥ

Translation

سنجے نے کہا: گھمسانِ جنگ میں وہ پارتھ کے نام سے مُہر شدہ تیروں سے مارے جا رہے تھے—ایسے ہتھیار جو اپنے منبع کا اعلان کرتے اور قتل و غارت کو بےنقاب کر دیتے تھے۔ یہ مصرع یاد دلاتا ہے کہ جنگ میں عمل گمنام نہیں رہتا؛ سپاہی کی agency اس کے ہتھیاروں پر کھلے طور پر ثبت ہوتی ہے۔
