अध्याय ९ — दुर्योधनस्य अन्त्यावस्था, विलापः, तथा सौप्तिक-प्रतिवृत्तम्

Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report

ये वयं न गताः: स्वर्ग त्वां पुरस्कृत्य पार्थिवम्‌ । “मुझको, कृतवर्माको तथा महारथी कृपाचार्यको भी धिक्‍्कार है कि हम आप-जैसे महाराजको आगे करके स्वर्गलोकमें नहीं गये ।। ३४ $ ।। दातारं सर्वकामानां रक्षितारं प्रजाहितम्‌

ye vayaṁ na gatāḥ svargaṁ tvāṁ puraskṛtya pārthivam | dātāraṁ sarvakāmānāṁ rakṣitāraṁ prajāhitam ||

سنجے نے کہا—ہم پر لعنت، اے پارتھیو! کہ ہم نے آپ کو پیشوا بنا کر سُورگ کو نہ پایا۔ آپ ہر مراد کے داتا اور رعایا کے ہِت کے محافظ تھے۔
