अपूरयद् दिश: सर्वा दिवं चातिमहान् स्वनः । राजन्! आनन्दमग्न हुए भूतसमुदायोंके द्वारा किया हुआ वह महान् कोलाहल सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं तथा आकाशमें गूँज उठा
apūrayad diśaḥ sarvā divaṃ cātimahān svanaḥ | rājan ānandamagnair bhūtasamūhair kṛto mahān kolāhalaḥ samantād diśaś ca nabhaś ca nināda |
سنجے نے کہا—اے راجن! ایک نہایت عظیم آواز نے تمام سمتوں اور آسمان کو بھر دیا۔ سرور میں مگن بھوتوں کے گروہوں کا اٹھایا ہوا وہ بڑا شور ہر طرف گونج اٹھا۔
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that a tremendous roar arose and echoed through all directions and the sky, produced by hosts of beings exulting in excitement—an atmospheric, ominous soundscape surrounding the events of the Sauptika episode.
