ननाद बलवन्नादं जिघांसुस्तान् महारथान् । उन महारथियोंको बाणोंकी वर्षा करते देख अअश्वत्थामा उन्हें मार डालनेकी इच्छासे जोर-जोरसे गर्जना करने लगा
nanāda balavan nādaṃ jighāṃsus tān mahārathān |
سنجے نے کہا—ان مہارتھیوں کو قتل کرنے کی نیت سے اشوتھاما نے زور دار دھاڑ ماری۔ میدانِ جنگ میں انہیں تیروں کی بارش کرتے دیکھ کر وہ غضب سے بے قابو ہو کر بلند آواز میں گرج اٹھا۔
