Aśvatthāman’s Curse, Parikṣit’s Future, and the Mani’s Restitution
परिक्षिन्नाम नृपतिर्मिषतस्ते सुदुर्मते । दुर्मते! इसके बाद तेरे देखते-देखते महाबाहु कुरुराज परीक्षित् ही इस भूमण्डलका सम्राट् होगा
parikṣinnāma nṛpatir miṣatas te sudurmate | durmate! iṣke bāda tere dekhate-dekhate mahābāhu kururāja parīkṣit hi asya bhūmaṇḍalasya samrāṭ bhaviṣyati ||
اے نہایت گمراہ! اس کے بعد تیری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہی ‘پریکشت’ نام کا ایک بادشاہ اٹھے گا؛ وہی مہاباہو کورو راج پریکشت اس تمام روئے زمین کا شہنشاہ ہوگا۔
