Sauptika Parva, Adhyāya 15

यदत्र हितमस्माकं लोकानां चैव सर्वथा । भवन्तौ देवसंकाशौ तथा सम्मन्तुमर्हत:,“आप दोनों देवताके तुल्य हैं; अतः इस समय जैसा करनेसे हमारा और सब लोगोंका सर्वथा हित हो, उसीके लिये आप हमें सलाह दें”

yad atra hitam asmākaṁ lokānāṁ caiva sarvathā | bhavantau devasaṅkāśau tathā sammantum arhataḥ ||

اس گھڑی میں ہمارے اور تمام لوگوں کے لیے جو بات ہر طرح سے مفید ہو—کہ آپ دونوں دیوتاؤں کی مانند درخشاں ہیں—اسی پر غور فرما کر ہمیں مناسب صلاح دیں۔
