Shloka 6

इति ब्रुवन्‌ निववृते भ्रातृभि: सह पाण्डव: । जानंश्व शकुनेर्मायां पार्थो द्यूतमियात्‌ पुन:,ऐसा कहते हुए पाण्डुनन्दन युधिष्ठिर भाइयोंके साथ पुनः लौट पड़े। वे शकुनिकी मायाको जानते थे, तो भी जूआ खेलनेके लिये चले आये

iti bruvan nivavṛte bhrātṛbhiḥ saha pāṇḍavaḥ | jānaṃś ca śakuner māyāṃ pārtho dyūtam iyāt punaḥ ||

یوں کہہ کر پانڈو کا بیٹا (یُدھشٹھِر) اپنے بھائیوں کے ساتھ پلٹ گیا۔ شکنی کی چالیں جانتے ہوئے بھی پرتھ (پانڈوپتر) پھر جوئے کی بازی کی طرف چلا آیا۔
