वैशम्पायन उवाच तद्‌ वै श्रुत्वा भीमसेन: कुरुमध्येउत्यमर्षण: । स्त्रीगति: पाण्डुपुत्राणामित्युवाच सुदुर्मना:

vaiśampāyana uvāca | tad vai śrutvā bhīmasenaḥ kurumadhye 'tyamarṣaṇaḥ | strīgatiḥ pāṇḍuputrāṇām ity uvāca sudurmanāḥ ||

ویشَمپاین نے کہا—اے راجن! کوروؤں کے بیچ کرن کی وہ بات سن کر، توہین نہ سہنے والا بھیم سین دل ہی دل میں سخت رنجیدہ ہو کر بولا—“ہائے! پانڈو کے بیٹوں کی نجات ایک عورت پر آ ٹھہری!”
