Vidura’s Report and Portents

द्रौपहुुवाच लोभो धर्मस्य नाशाय भगवन्‌ नाहमुत्सहे । अनर्ां वरमादातुं तृतीयं राजसत्तम

drauphy uvāca lobho dharmasya nāśāya bhagavan nāham utsahe | anarthāṁ varam ādātuṁ tṛtīyaṁ rājasattama ||

دروپدی نے کہا— “اے بزرگ! لالچ دھرم کی بربادی کا سبب بنتا ہے؛ میں تیسرا ور لینے کی ہمت نہیں کرتی۔ اے بہترین بادشاہ! تیسرا ور لینا انर्थ (آفت) کا باعث ہوگا۔”
