दुरोदरा विहिता ये तु तत्र महात्मना धृतराष्ट्रेण राज्ञा । तान् द्रक्ष्य्से कितवान् संनिविष्टा- नित्यागतो<हं नूपते तज्जुषस्व,महामना राजा धृतराष्ट्रने वहाँ जो जूएके स्थान बनवाये हैं, उनको और वहाँ जुटकर बैठे हुए धूर्त जुआरियोंको तुम देखोगे। राजन! मैं इसीलिये आया हूँ। तुम चलकर उस सभा एवं द्यूतक्रीड़ाका सेवन करो
durōdarā vihitā ye tu tatra mahātmanā dhṛtarāṣṭreṇa rājñā | tān drakṣyase kitavān saṁniviṣṭān ity āgato 'haṁ nṛpate taj juṣasva ||
وِدُر نے کہا—اے راجن! وہاں مہاتما راجا دھرتراشٹر نے جوئے کے لیے جو مقام تیار کرائے ہیں، تم انہیں دیکھو گے، اور وہاں اکٹھے بیٹھے ہوئے مکار جواریوں کو بھی۔ اسی سبب سے میں تمہارے پاس آیا ہوں؛ تم جا کر اس سبھا اور اس پاسوں کے کھیل میں شریک ہو۔
