ये चापि निधन प्राप्ता: संग्रामेष्वपलायिन: । ते तत् सदनमासाद्य मोदन्ते भरतर्षभ,भरतर्षभ! जो लोग संग्राममें पीठ न दिखाकर वहीं मृत्युका वरण कर लेते हैं, वे भी देवराज इन्द्रकी उस सभामें जाकर वहाँ आनन्दका उपभोग करते हैं
ye cāpi nidhana-prāptāḥ saṅgrāmeṣv apalāyinaḥ | te tat sadanam āsādya modante bharatarṣabha ||
اور جو لوگ جنگ میں پیٹھ نہ دکھا کر—بغیر بھاگے—وہیں جان دے دیتے ہیں، وہ بھی اسی آسمانی ایوانِ سبھا کو پا کر وہاں مسرور ہوتے ہیں، اے بھرتوں کے سَرشٹھ۔
