Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how the accumulation of weapons and brute strength, when gathered in a group, signals impending harm; it implicitly warns that power without restraint accelerates adharma and collective ruin.

Arjuna is depicting a body of fighters equipped with heavy weapons—maces, clubs, and spears—emphasizing their formidable, club-like arms and their assembled readiness for violent action.
