ततः किरीटी भृशमुग्रनि:स्वनं महाशरं सर्पविषानलोपमम् । अयस्मयं रौद्रमहास्त्रसम्भृतं महाहवे क्षेप्तुमना महामति:
tataḥ kirīṭī bhṛśam ugraniḥsvanaṃ mahāśaraṃ sarpaviṣānalopamam | ayasmayaṃ raudramahāstrasambhṛtaṃ mahāhave kṣeptumanā mahāmatiḥ ||
سنجے نے کہا—تب نہایت دانشمند، تاج پوش ارجن نے اس عظیم معرکے میں کرن پر چلانے کے لیے ایک بہت بڑا تیر پھینکنے کا ارادہ کیا؛ وہ نہایت ہولناک گرج دار آواز کرتا تھا، سانپ کے زہر اور آگ کی مانند دہکتا تھا، لوہے کا بنا ہوا تھا اور خوفناک مہارَودر استر کی منتر-شکتی سے معمور تھا۔
