ततस्तौ पुरुषव्याप्रौ सर्वलोकथधनुर्धरौ । त्यक्तप्राणौ रणे वीरौ युद्धश्रममुपागतौ । समुत्क्षेपैवीज्यमानौ सिक्तौ चन्दनवारिणा
tatastau puruṣavyāghrau sarvalokātha dhanurdharau | tyaktaprāṇau raṇe vīrau yuddhaśramamupāgatau | samutkṣepairvījyamānau siktau candanavāriṇā ||
سنجے نے کہا—پھر وہ دونوں مردِ شیر، جو سارے جہان میں سب سے بڑے تیراندازوں کے طور پر مشہور تھے، رن میں جان کی بازی لگا کر لڑتے ہوئے جنگ کی تھکن سے نڈھال ہو گئے۔ بلند کیے ہوئے پنکھوں سے انہیں ہوا دی گئی اور صندل آلود پانی چھڑکا گیا—مسلسل معرکے کے بیچ ایک لمحے کی باوقار مہلت۔
