अध्याय ९ — कर्णस्य प्रहारः, योधयुग्मनियोजनम्, शैनेय-कैकेययोर्युद्धविन्यासः

पड़ोरिवाध्वगमनं दरिद्रस्पेव कामितम्‌

paḍor ivādhvagamanaṁ daridrasyeva kāmitam

دھرتراشٹر نے کہا—یہ آگے بڑھنا تھکے ہوئے مسافر کی گھسیٹتی چال کی مانند ہے، اور مفلس کی آرزو کی مانند—مجبوری سے بندھا ہوا، دردناک؛ خوشی سے نہیں بلکہ ضرورت سے چلایا ہوا۔
