ते हित्वा समरे कर्ण वध्यमानाश्न सायकै: । प्रदुद्रवुर्दिशो भीताश्लुक्रुशुश्नापि सूतजम्
te hitvā samare karṇa vadhyamānāś ca sāyakaiḥ | pradudruvur diśo bhītāḥ krūśuś cāpi sūtajam ||
سنجے نے کہا—تیروں سے چھلنی ہو کر اور خوف سے گھبرا کر وہ میدانِ جنگ میں کرنا کو چھوڑ کر ہر سمت بھاگ گئے۔ پھر بھی اپنی جان بچانے کے لیے دوڑتے ہوئے وہ سوت پتر کرنا ہی کو فریاد کرتے رہے کہ وہی ہماری حفاظت کرے۔
