भीमस्य वाहाग्रयमुदारवेगं समनन्ततो बाणगणैर्निजषघ्नु: । तत: शरानापततो महात्मा चिच्छेद बाणैस्तपनीयपुड्खै:,वे भीमसेनके अत्यन्त वेगशाली श्रेष्ठ रथपर चारों ओरसे बाणसमूहोंद्वारा प्रहार करने लगे; परंतु महामनस्वी भीमसेनने अपने ऊपर आते हुए उन बाणोंको सुवर्णमय पंखवाले बाणोंद्वारा काट डाला
bhīmasya vāhāgrayam udāravegaṃ samanantato bāṇagaṇair nijaṣaghnur | tataḥ śarān āpatato mahātmā ciccheda bāṇais tapanīya-puṅkhaiḥ ||
سنجے نے کہا—انہوں نے ہر طرف سے تیروں کے جھنڈ کے ساتھ بھیِم کے نہایت تیز و توانا رتھ-دستے پر وار کیے۔ تب عظیم النفس بھیِمسین نے اپنی طرف آتے ہوئے ان تیروں کو سونے کے پروں والے اپنے تیروں سے کاٹ ڈالا۔
