प्रयच्छान्यस्मै गाण्डिवमेतदद्य त्वत्तो योअस्त्रैरभ्यधिको वा नरेन्द्र: । “यदि तुम आज रणभूमिमें विचरते हुए इस भयानक वीर राधापुत्र कर्णका सामना करनेकी शक्ति नहीं रखते तो अब यह गाण्डीव धनुष दूसरे किसी ऐसे राजाको दे दो जो अस्त्रबलमें तुमसे बढ़कर हो
prayacchānyasmai gāṇḍīvam etad adya tvatto yo 'strair abhyadhiko vā narendraḥ |
سنجے نے کہا—آج یہ گانڈیوا کسی اور کے حوالے کر دو—کسی ایسے راجہ کو جو اسلحہ و فنِ جنگ میں تم سے بڑھ کر ہو۔ اگر تم میدانِ جنگ میں گھومتے ہوئے ہولناک سورما رادھا پُتر کرن کا مقابلہ کرنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے، تو یہ کمان زیادہ اہل کے ہاتھ میں رہنے دو۔
