The verse highlights decisive action after attentive listening: once the righteous side’s intent is understood, Kṛṣṇa moves swiftly to execute what duty and strategy require. Ethically, it underscores that clarity of purpose should be followed by prompt, disciplined action in a crisis.
Sañjaya narrates that Kṛṣṇa, after hearing the Pandava’s statement (contextually Arjuna’s words), departs immediately in Arjuna’s chariot, described as bearing a lofty standard and moving with mind-and-wind-like speed—signaling a rapid transition to the next battlefield development.
