जगाम भरतमश्रेष्ठ वध्यमानं परस्परम् | भरतश्रेष्ठ! परस्पर मार खाती हुई वह सेना रक्तके प्रवाहमें डूबकर खूनसे लथपथ हो गयी थी और एक-दूसरेकी चोट खाकर विनाशको प्राप्त हो रही थी

سنجے نے کہا—اے بھرت شریشٹھ، وہ لشکر ایک دوسرے کو مارتا اور مار کھاتا خون کے دھاروں میں ڈوب گیا۔ خون میں لتھڑا ہوا، باہمی ضربوں سے چکناچور ہو کر وہ تباہی کی طرف بڑھا۔
