Educational Q&A

The verse highlights resilience and steadiness in duty: when a weapon is lost or broken, a warrior does not collapse into despair but promptly equips himself again and continues to act according to his role and responsibility.

In the midst of battle, Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s bow has been cut. He throws it away and immediately, with great speed, takes up a new bow strong enough to withstand the strain, preparing to continue fighting.
