कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament
तथा राजन् महेष्वासो जलसंधो महाबल: । सुमहत् कदनं कृत्वा हत: सात्यकिना रणे,राजन! महाधनुर्धर महाबली जलसंध रणभूमिमें शत्रु-सेनाका महान् संहार करके अन्तमें सात्यकिके हाथसे मारे गये
tathā rājan maheṣvāso jalasaṃdho mahābalaḥ | sumahat kadanaṃ kṛtvā hataḥ sātyakinā raṇe ||
سنجے نے کہا—اے راجن! عظیم کماندار اور نہایت زورآور جلَسندھ نے میدانِ جنگ میں دشمن لشکر کا بڑا قتلِ عام کیا، مگر آخرکار ساتْیَکی کے ہاتھوں مارا گیا۔
