स वै सम्पत्स्यते कर्ण सत्यमेतद्‌ ब्रवीमि ते । “कर्ण! तुम्हारे हृदयमें चिरकालसे जो अभीष्ट मनोरथ संचित है, वह निश्चय ही सफल होगा, यह मैं तुमसे सत्य कहता हूँ

Transliteration

sa vai sampatsyate karṇa satyam etad bravīmi te |

Translation

سنجے نے کہا—اے کرن! یہ ضرور واقع ہوگا؛ میں تم سے سچ کہتا ہوں۔ تمہارے دل میں مدتِ دراز سے جو محبوب و مطلوب آرزو جمع ہے، وہ یقیناً پوری ہوگی۔
