एते चान्ये च राजेन्द्र प्रवीरा जयगृद्धिन: । अभ्यर्दयन् महेष्वासं सूतपुत्रं महामृथे,राजेन्द्र विजयकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाले इन प्रमुख वीरों तथा दूसरोंने भी उस महासमरमें महाधनुर्धर सूतपुत्र कर्णको बाणोंद्वारा पीड़ित कर दिया

سنجے نے کہا—اے راجندر! فتح کی حرص میں سرشار یہ نامور سورما اور دوسرے بھی اس عظیم معرکے میں مہادھنوردھر سوت پتر کرن پر ٹوٹ پڑے اور تیروں کی بوچھاڑ سے اسے سخت اذیت پہنچانے لگے۔
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that many leading warriors, along with others, converge upon Karṇa in the great battle and wound/harass him with showers of arrows, emphasizing the intensity of the assault on the renowned archer.
